If you need to book entertainment or organise an event for deaf or hard of hearing guests, there are a range of options available from ROLENT including acts that are primarily visual, such as acrobats, mime artists, conjurors, living statues, gymnasts and so on.

If the guests are not profoundly deaf, but are hard of hearing then we can advise on solutions including PA systems and hearing induction loops, as we have a lot of experience dealing with audio visual (AV) equipment, including public address systems, hearing induction loop systems and infra red (IR) hearing support systems.

We also have an experienced BSL sign language interpreter available (over 20 years full time professional experience as a British Sign Language communicator / interpreter).  Please note that the availability of an interpreter would be by prior appointment and is subject to availability (in the Oxford area) as she is very busy with other work.  The best way for profoundly deaf clients to contact ROLENT is by email.  We do not have minicom, but can be contacted by email or you can text our mobile number (please see the 'Contact Us' link on the left of the page for contact information).

Some of the areas of entertainment that we specialise in are highly visual, such as ethnic and multicultural acts from China and Africa, where the costumes and dancing constitute a major part of the performance.
